A fixed rate plan is a smart and reliable choice. You pay the same price for electricity every month, despite rising electricity rates or peaks in your own electric consumption. At the end of the fixed term, the contract is automatically renewed for the following 12-month period. It really is as simple as that!

How to choose the right package

Above we have given guidelines for which electricity package suits different sized apartments. However, the size of the apartment doesn’t always accurately reflect the electricity consumption. When choosing a package for yourself, check your annual energy usage on your electricity bill – it will help you find the best option for you. Choose a Tasaraha-contract with the maximum spending as close as possible to your annual electric consumption.

Tasaraha is an easy and reliable choice

  • The 12-month fixed rate plan is automatically renewed, and you will receive the same plan for the next 12-month period. Any changes to the price or other terms of the contract as the Tasaraha-period changes will be informed in good time. At the end of the fixed term, you may also choose to change the contract type.
  • If your annual electricity consumption exceeds the maximum package usage during the Tasaraha-period, you will be charged 8.99 cents/kWh in addition to the standard monthly price. Although it may be profitable to slightly exceed your chosen Tasaraha-contract's consumption limit, it is best to choose a package that doesn’t exceed it.
  • As Lumo Energia’s customer, you can monitor your energy usage on My Pages. If it seems that your annual electricity consumption will be above the maximum spending limit for your package, you can always upgrade to a larger Tasaraha-contract at no additional cost.
  • The fixed rate price includes the sale of electricity: your local transmission network operator will charge a separate transmission fee according to its public price list.
